Meet Our Very Own . . . Tara Heyderman

Hi, I’m Tara Heyderman and I have been working as a Camp Specialist for almost 4 years; I live in Livingston, NJ with my husband and my 2 children.

I love my job. I get to talk about camp all the time. Over the summers I get to visit camps. During the winter, I meet with moms and help them sort out their camp needs. Together we come up with a viable list of camps for the family to tour. This is a job I really love doing. It’s the best!

I spent eight extraordinary summers at Tripp Lake Camp. Those summers were filled with opportunities I know I couldn’t find anywhere else. There was no better feeling than getting up on a water ski or flying through massive pines on the zip line. My most favorite, however, was getting dressed up in team colors. It was fun, silly and full of spirit. Cheering on my team was a daily reminder that I was part of something big and 30 years later I still cheer when I find out that “my team” won the shield.

Tara & Family

I truly believe that nothing is better than camp. Camp offers a child a chance to be themselves, become independent and try new things; they make friends and take risks and they get to be silly. Your child will get to strengthen their skills on and off the field. And they get to unplug.

My job is to help parents make the right choice for sleep away camp -

I love my job and I want to see your children succeed!
